Welcome to the Hack

Welcome to the Hack the Dojo blog. My name is Brec Carson and I've been working with Dojo as a Javascript framework for about a year now. I'm starting this blog now as an attempt to pass on and archive what I've learned.

Dojo has been, during this year, a moving target as far as frameworks go. So, most of my experience has been with the 0.3.1 build. We settled on that build mostly because of a large investment in time I made to create a Table Tree widget. When 0.4.0 came out and the widget didn't work we decided that there wasn't a pressing need to migrate. Our next migration will happen (I anticipate) with either the 0.9.x or 1.0 builds as the expectation is that the base will solidify at that point.

Thanks for reading. Next post I'll try to get into my point in making this blog. Namely demonstrating my use of dojo as I understand it. Hopefully it's useful to someone (anyone) else.
